Department, dated 1.4.1973. Then after, Ambur Municipality was upgraded as I Grade Municipality, as per G.O. No. 85 of R.D.& L.A. Places to be visit in Pune is Diveagar is among few beaches of konkan. It is approximately 180 kms away from Pune. It takes around 5 hours to reach there. This is a very beautiful beach.
